The City of Newcastle’s 2026 Adopted Budget is now available online for public viewing. Adopted by City Council on November 4, 2025, the budget reflects the City’s financial priorities and serves as the official spending plan for the year ahead.
The adopted budget provides the legal authority for the City to continue delivering essential services, maintaining public infrastructure, and advancing planned capital improvement projects. It aligns day-to-day operations with long-term financial planning to ensure Newcastle remains fiscally responsible while meeting the needs of the community.
Community members are encouraged to review the digital budget book, which offers an easy way to explore revenues, expenditures, and major programs across City departments and funds. Users can browse sections online or print a copy if preferred. The budget book is compatible with computers, tablets, and smartphones for convenient access anytime.
View the 2026 Adopted Budget online and find Past Budgets in the Document Center.
