Doing Business at City Events
Newcastle’s city events attract hundreds of attendees from the local area and provide a great opportunity for businesses and organizations to connect with the community in a lively, welcoming setting. There are several ways to partner with the City of Newcastle at these events.
City events feature live performances, food trucks, and vendor booths, and depend on strong community participation. Musicians, small business owners, nonprofit organizations, and food vendors are all encouraged to get involved and help make each event engaging and successful.
Events Opportunities
Booth Vendors
Newcastle Days, the city’s largest community celebration, features a vibrant vendor fair. Local businesses, artists, nonprofits, and public agencies can showcase products, share information, and connect with the community. Booths help make the event engaging and interactive for everyone.
Applications for Newcastle Days 2026 are now open and are due by July 24.
Food Vendors
Lake Boren Park is a beautiful, spacious location with electrical hookups, making it perfect for food vendors. Opportunities are available at Fireworks on the Lake in July, the summer Concerts in the Park series, and the annual Newcastle Days celebration in September. These events provide great exposure in a family-friendly setting.
Applications are now closed for Summer 2026. Notifications will be completed by the end of May.
Stage Bands
Local bands play an important role in creating a welcoming and engaging experience at city events. Performances at the summer Concerts in the Park series and the annual Newcastle Days celebration take place on the Lake Boren Park stage, offering a scenic backdrop that makes each show memorable for both performers and audiences.
