Fire and Emergency Medical Services

The City of Newcastle contracts with Bellevue Fire Department (BFD) for fire and emergency medical services. BFD responds to all fire and medical emergencies reported through 911. BFD also provides fire and life safety inspections, permitting services. and educational outreach.

Station 9

The nearest fire station is Station 9 located at 12412 Newcastle Way. First opened in 1975 as Renton Station 17, it has served Newport Hills and Newcastle since 1995. Station 9 also houses a new Brush Truck, ready to respond quickly to neighborhoods at higher risk of urban wildfires.
