The City’s 2026 Preliminary Budget is now available online for review. The budget outlines the City’s financial plan and priorities for the upcoming year and provides the necessary legal framework for Newcastle to continue essential services and advance capital improvement projects.

City Council will review the 2026 Preliminary Budget at study sessions on October 7 and October 21, 2025. Public Hearings for community input on the budget, revenue sources, and property tax levy are scheduled for October 7 and November 4, 2025. Council must adopt the budget before December 31, 2025.
