
The City of Newcastle is pleased to once again partner with the Coal Creek Family YMCA to support the Thanksgiving Meal Basket Program, helping ensure families in our community can enjoy a warm and joyful holiday meal.
Now through November 2, community members are invited to donate nonperishable food items to help fill Thanksgiving meal baskets for families in need across Newcastle, Renton Highlands, and South Bellevue.
Drop Off Locations
Donations can be dropped at City Hall or at any of our participating community partner locations:
-Aegis Gardens
-Body Language Studio
-Classic Cleaners
-Newcastle Library
-Newport Children’s School
-Regency Newcastle
-Valley Medical Center Primary Care Clinics Newcastle & Renton Highlands
-Verde Organic Body
Requested Donation ItemsHelp fill a Thanksgiving basket by donating any of the following shelf-stable items:
-Mashed potatoes
-Gravy
-Stuffing or dressing mix
-Mac & cheese
-Muffin or cornbread mix
-Canned vegetables
-Canned fruit
-Cranberry sauce
-Jelly or jam
-Canned or powdered milk
Every item helps make the holiday season brighter for families in need.
