The community is invited to a special Pride Month flag-raising ceremony outside City Hall on Tuesday, June 2 at 6:00 pm. Hosted by the City of Newcastle Community Activities Commission, the event will also include speakers, activities, music, and light refreshments.

The ceremony will take place at the flagpole ahead of the June 2 City Council meeting, where a formal Pride Month proclamation will be read. Everyone is welcome to attend and be a part of this community celebration as Newcastle kicks off Pride Month.
