Garbage

Garbage charges are based on container size. There is also a charge for extra garbage that doesn’t fit in your container with the lid closed.

• Cans, bins, bundles and carts up to 32-gallon size are lifted and emptied by hand. For your safety and the safety of your collectors, please limit each 32-gallon unit to no more than 60 pounds.

• Do NOT put these items in your garbage: Computers and TVs, fluorescent bulbs and tubes, motor oil, hazardous waste, needles or syringes, liquid paint, concrete, rocks or dirt, propane tanks, cooking oil (add animal litter to solidify), loose or hot ashes (double bag), loose cat litter or animal waste (double bag), loose packing pellets or sawdust (double bag).
