The City of Newcastle is thrilled to announce that registration is officially open for 2025 Summer Camps! From June 30 through August 22, Lake Boren Park will be buzzing with activity as kids ages 4 to 12 enjoy a variety of fun-filled, engaging camp experiences.

⚽ Skyhawks Sports Camps
Skyhawks returns with its popular youth sports programs, designed to help kids stay active, build confidence, and have a blast outdoors. Campers can take part in beach volleyball, cheerleading, flag football, soccer, tennis, and more - all in a supportive and energetic environment.

🎨 AL Studio Art Camp – New This Year!
Calling all creative kids ages 7 to 12! AL Studio Art Camp offers a nature-inspired, hands-on experience with canvas painting, drawing, clay crafts, and more. Campers will have the chance to explore their artistic side while making new friends in a beautiful park setting. The camp runs July 7–11, with full-day and half-day options available.

🧪 Challenge Island STEAM Camps – New This Year!
This award-winning program combines science, technology, engineering, art, and math into wildly imaginative adventures. For ages 6 to 12, Challenge Island camps feature fun weekly themes like Slimetopia, World Cruise, and Arcade Mania. Sessions take place July 14–18, August 4–8, and August 11–15.
