Newcastle’s online reporting system, SeeClickFix, saw a record-breaking 631 requests in 2024 - a 58% increase over the previous year! The platform makes it easy for residents to report potholes, graffiti, tree hazards, and more, helping keep the city safe and well-maintained.

The most common categories included Streets & Parking (162 reports), Trees & Vegetation (148), Parks & Trails (136), and Flooding & Other (103). Graffiti and trash issues also remained a concern, with 82 reports.

One of the busiest times of the year? November’s bomb cyclone, which led to a flurry of 77 reports in just a short span as residents reported downed trees, flooding, and road hazards.
