During its business hours, the designated cooling center for Newcastle residents is the Newcastle Library. Its hours are: 

Outside of Library business hours, residents can go to Mercer Island Community Center, Renton Community Center, Renton Senior Activity Center, and Renton Technical College. Indoor malls, such as The Marketplace at Factoria, are great places to cool down as well. Please consider wearing a mask when cooling at public indoor facilities.
