Deb Brown, co-founder of SaveYour.Town will be in the City of Newcastle the week of August 22 to work with the local businesses to create a Shop Local campaign, which will encourage residents to shop where they live. It will also prepare retailers and restaurateurs to recover from Covid-19. This project will encourage area residents to shop local and support small Newcastle businesses and increase City sales tax revenue.
“I am not coming to town to tell anyone what to do! I’ll be working with the city and the businesses to create a shop local campaign that works,” said Brown.
The goals are to:
●Issue a digital marketing campaign beginning in September.
●Notice what consumers want by listening, using data from Retail Coach and then finding ways to give them what they want.
●Work with local businesses to bring people into their stores.
