From the Newcastle Arts Council:

Now accepting applications from local artists for the September 2021 Newcastle Area Fall Art Exhibition.

Newcastle Arts Council and the Newcastle Library will be hosting the 4th annual Newcastle Area Fall Art Exhibition, which will be open to artists 16 and older. The exhibition will be at the Newcastle Library September 1 – 30.

The suggested theme for the show is “Reinvention.” After a year of significant change, many lives have been transformed? How does that show up in your art? Is there is a reinvention you are looking forward to in the future? Let your creativity be your muse.

Applications are due by July 15. All hanging mediums accepted.

Submit a separate application for each piece for consideration. Please include the following information in an email to the Newcastle Arts Council at [email protected]:

· A high-resolution color photo along with artist’s name, title of piece, dimensions of framed piece, and media used. Include any other descriptive information or story about the artwork and how it ties to the theme of “Reinvention.”

· Artist’s contact information, including e-mail address, home address, and phone number

· A short artist’s bio

This exhibition is a project of the Newcastle Arts Council and the Newcastle Library, in partnership with City of Newcastle and 4Culture.
