To protect the health and safety of our residents, Councilmembers and staff, the May 5 City Council meeting will be held via video conference. Under new policy direction from the state, online meetings are still permitted, however, Cities can only conduct business that is considered essentially urgent or related to the COVID-19 response.

During this meeting, staff will present an analysis of the COVID-19 impacts on the City's budget. The financial analysis looks at three scenarios that impact the City’s 2020 budget differently depending upon the speed of the recovery due to COVID 19. Based upon the assumptions used in a fast recovery to slow recovery the impact to the General Fund increases the currently budgeted operating deficit of $896,000 to a range of $1.125 million to $1.929 million.

Members of the public will still have a chance to listen, watch and participate. See below for instructions. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5. View the agenda packet here.
