Food Vendors for Newcastle Events

We aspire to have a variety of food for purchase each of our summer events. All events are family friendly and most attendees are NewcastleFood Vendors at 4th of July Celebration residents or from the neighboring cities of Renton, Bellevue and Issaquah. All events take place rain or shine and occur at Lake Boren Park. Electrical hook-ups are available.

For each event, we require:

- A completed application and fee 
- Temporary Food Service Permit with King County Health Department


2017 Events with Food Vendors

Fourth at the Lake Celebration
Tuesday, July 4,  6-10 p.m.

Application and payment due May 31, 2017


Attendees begin arriving in the park mid-afternoon for this community celebration. Patriotic party favors, live music, food and fun build up to the crescendo of fireworks at 10 p.m. Draws approximately 3,000 to 4,000 attendees.  4th at the Lake Food Vendor Application

Concerts in the Park
Wednesdays, July 19-Aug. 9, 7-8:30 p.m.
*Applications and payment due six weeks prior to each concert

Outdoor concerts are held during the summer. Crowds often begin gathering as early as 6 p.m. for a community picnic. Music ranges from classic rock, pop, country, big band and jazz. Attendance averages 400 to 1,000 per concert. Concerts in the Park Food Vendor Application

Newcastle Days
​Sept. 8-9 (Friday evening – Saturday)
*Applications and payment due July 31

This two-day community festival includes a parade, car show, visual and performing arts, recreation, food, exhibitions, beer garden, numerous children’s activities and stage entertainment. It draws more than 3,000 attendees over the weekend. Newcastle Days Food Vendor Application

Food Vendors at Private Events
*Applications and payment due 1 month prior

Any organization or group planning on having a food vendor at a non-City event occurring in a City owned park or property must file a food vendor application with the designated fee. General Food Vendor Application
