A new, colorful art installation adorns the landscape at Newcastle City Hall! On Saturday, members of the Newcastle Arts Council installed a community rock garden. The garden is made up of rocks painted by community members at Newcastle Days and other events. Stop by City Hall (12835 Newcastle Way) to see the artwork on display. Thank you to the Newcastle Arts Council volunteers who made this project happen!

The Newcastle Arts Council is a community volunteer organization that advocates for art. The group is not an official City body, but volunteers work closely with the Newcastle Community Activities Commission to promote art projects. The Newcastle Arts Council’s mission is to promote, support, and encourage artists and creation of art in the Newcastle area through networking, event coordination, funding, education, and awareness of art.
