Calling all young artists! The Newcastle Arts Council is accepting applications for an upcoming art exhibition. The group is seeking local artists (grades K-12) and all hanging mediums will be considered.

The Newcastle Arts Council Youth Art Exhibition will be at Newcastle Library, March 2-27, 2020, with a formal opening reception on March 5, where the community can meet the artists. Applications should be submitted by Jan. 19, 2020, in the form of an email, to [email protected]. 

This exhibition is being organized by the Newcastle Arts Council in partnership with the Newcastle Library and the City of Newcastle with funding from 4Culture.

PLEASE INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION:

• Artist's name and name of submitter, if different

• Contact's address, phone number and email address

• A short artist bio of three to four sentences

• Name of school artist attends

• Grade of artist

• Attach a color photo of the artwork and include: Title of piece, framed dimensions and media
