Play & Learn-Chinese
Tuesday, January 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, 10:30am
Newborn to age 5 with adult. Stories, songs and fun! This program is conducted primarily in Chinese, but the facilitator is a bilingual English/Chinese speaker.

Infant Story Times
Wednesday, January 17, 24 and 31, 10:15am
Newborn to 12 months with adult, siblings welcome. Stories, songs and fun!

Preschool Story Times
Wednesday, January 17, 24 and 31, 11:30am
Ages 3 to 5 with adult, siblings welcome. Stories, songs and fun!

Toddler Story Times
Monday, January 22 and 29, 10:15am and 11:30am
Ages 1 to 3 with adult, siblings welcome. Stories, songs and fun!

Japanese Story Time
Thursday, January 25, 10:30am
Family program, all ages welcome. Stories, songs and fun!

Teens and Tweens

IdeaX: Kerbal Space Program Club
Wednesday, January 3, 6pm
Ages 10 to 17. Join fans of rockets, space travel, and explosions in playing the award-winning computer game Kerbal Space Program! Use one of our laptops or bring your own if you already play. Space is limited. First come, first served.

Newcastle Youth Community Engagement (NYCE)
Wednesday, January 17, 6:30pm
Held at Newcastle City Hall, 12835 Newcastle Way #200, Newcastle, WA 98056.
Attention middle and high school students!
Volunteer and join Newcastle Youth Community Engagement (NYCE) to help the Newcastle Library and the City of Newcastle create the programs, services, and events you want to see! Munch on snacks and have fun while you make a difference!


Talk Time Classes

Practice speaking English with other English language learners. Learn about American culture and meet people from around the world.
Classes are free. Join anytime.

Memoir Writers Meet-Up

Preserve your life experiences, leave a legacy for future generations. Share your stories, swap writing tips, network with other memoir writers. Bring your stories and get feedback (not criticism) to what you have written. Get ideas for capturing more memories and write a 'creative' memoir. An experienced writer facilitates each Meet-Up. All writing levels and drop-ins welcome.
